An incredible experiment is unfolding before our eyes in El Salvador. Adopting Bitcoin was focused on how we make this experiment a success.

The day before Adopting Bitcoin, I did some more Lightning payments to various merchants around town and had some misadventures with a Chivo Bitcoin ATM.

The day where I find a new version of Chivo that accepts Lightning payments with minimal issue and hike a volcano.

I started the day off with a breakfast of huevos revueltos, with tortillas and frijoles refritos, then ventured out into the city. I decided to head over to Starbucks to get some work done on my laptop and checkout the Bitcoin UX there.

One trend I am beginning to notice is that some businesses who accept Bitcoin treat it as a special edge case. I call this the "designated bitcoiner" approach.

A recap of my first day in El Salvador: my first payment with Bitcoin as legal tender, Mi Primer Bitcoin, and learning about the country.
